Hannah

Founder & workshop facilitator
 After graduating from Nottingham Trent University and the University of Liverpool. Hannah founded 9 Tea Cups in 2009.
Since that time Hannah has collaborated with charity and community groups to provide workshops, guest lectured about Autism, Advocacy and Inclusion, teaches #NoJudgement Fitness Classes and has acted as an advocate in mental health, education, social care and health care settings.

Hannah is passionate about inclusion, empowerment, education, and support. Hannah has run empowerment, self-esteem and body positivity workshops. She has also had the opportunity to work with survivors of trauma, with individuals and the families of people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and chronic conditions offering support and tailored workshops

Workshop Facilitator
Penny has a diverse background, having qualified as a riding instructor in 2001, attaining a Business management degree in 2004, opening a riding school in 2006 to include therapeutic lessons for children and adults with additional needs. Four children, a psychology degree and a diagnosis of Asperger’s later, Penny has collated a wealth of experience and knowledge in the area of adult and child mental health, sensory processing disorder,  Aspergers Syndrome and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Penny has had involvement with the commissioners at the County Council in Worcestershire, providing insight feeding into the adults Autism strategy including supporting the design and information included in leaflets sent out to GP’s in the county . She is currently involved in a group run by Worcestershire’s ‘Healthwatch’ reviewing the diagnostic and support service provided by Health, for children and adults in the county.  She participates in two groups currently working in partnership with the Local Education Authority to  improve provision within the county.  Penny is passionate about empowering and educating others in order for adults and children with autism to live fulfilled lives, in addition to her work with 9 Tea Cups Penny works as a mentor for university students and females with Autism and/ or mental health difficulties, and parents of children on the spectrum.
