Announcing a new free 12 week programme for people living with fibromyalgia in Redditch and Bromsgrove.The sessions have been developed alongside fibromyalgia patients and people living with chronic illness. Their input has been key to shaping the programme. We will include elements of education, relaxation techniques, and gentle movement to assist in the management of fibromyalgia.
Each session is designed to be responsive to clients abilities, as these will vary between people and from day-to-day.

The course begins on Friday 15th September at 1:30, and runs for 12 weeks. The programme is free to attend and is kindly sponsored by Bromsgrove District Council.

Will there be intensive exercise?
No. The sessions are designed for us to come together as a group, connect and discuss and practice techniques and gentle exercises to help with management of fibromyalgia.
I am worried that the sessions will be too much, can I sit things out if I am not comfortable?
Yes. If at any point you would like to take a break or a time out for whatever reason, just let your instructor know.
Do I have to come to every session?
Fibromyalgia affects your capacity to do things, we will go over how this comes to be in the programme. Let us know how you get along and we can work together to support you as best we can.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing, warm socks and layers if you tend to get cold.
What do I need?
Have a pen and paper handy for notes. It’s always a good idea to have a bottle of water, a snack, and any medication that you will need close by.
