Gratitude is an important life skill, that has lots of benefits for our mental health. But it’s an assumed skill. So we’re launching a seven day gratitude challenge, that covers day-to-day life and social media life, starting tomorrow.
We have put together a free gratitude journal for you to work through, where we cover and guide you through:
- Identifying Shame Triggers
- Why it’s so easy to fall into the comparison trap
- How to get out of the comparison trap
- What the benefits of gratitude are and how you can get them
- A 7 day journal for you to use.
Gratitude, like all life skills, takes practice. The more you practice it, the more you benefit from it and the easier it becomes. We’ve discussed social media and fomo on the blog briefly before, but social media is pervasive and it can be easy to fall into bad habits.
Social media can encourage comparison, which is one of the most common self-esteem traps there is. The more we engage in comparison, the worse we feel. It’s no fun, it doesn’t help you or anyone else and most of us do it on the daily. It’s one bad habit, and you have the power to change it.
The way we experience the world starts with the way we see ourselves. With that in mind, we’ve designed this challenge for you and we really hope you can join us, whether you are new to a gratitude practice or not.
